FRIDAY JUNE 21ST - 6 WEEKS TIL FIGHT NIGHT
6 weeks til fight time!
I'm feeling good physically (although my weight has plateaued at 74.5kgs) and reasonably confident all round. I do need to get more sparring in though plus lose another 2 kgs. My opponent is confirmed and hes about 70-71kgs so its expected that I'll come down and make a good match weight-wise.
I'm finding that my fitness is getting up there, at least relatively to my previous condition and age etc. If I get puffed these days its only after a really hard-out train and I recover quickly - I need to work to match my strength and speed to my fitness and I'll be sussed! Feeling fit really is an awesome feeling. It puts a spring in your step and you feel light and agile. Today I had to go to work (which is just down the road) and found myself running there without needing to or even thinking about it!
