FRIDAY JULY 26TH - 8 DAYS FROM FIGHT NIGHT
Only 8 days to go til the fight. I'm feeling fit and ready to roll! Running 4kms each morning has added to my stamina and my weights still hovering around 72kgs (thats about 3kgs heavier than my opponent but we are the same height and size generally so the small weight difference shouldn't be an issue for either of us.
It's normal to not spar on the week of a fight to avoid the risk of injury, so we had our last sparring session today. I did 2 rounds with Trish and 2 with Tearoha.
